Shrink left side of bookmarks panel

Here's the bookmarks panel on my desktop install of Opera:

Here's the bookmarks panel on my USB install of Opera:

I want to get rid of the blank vertical space on the left side of the USB panel (the area and the blue button just below my address bar button) so that the panel is flush left with the window. I did it on my desktop version but for the life of me cannot remember how.

Appearance -> Toolbars -> Select the area you want to move/change -> Change Placement
