Twitter feeds update setting problem
I can't seem to set the feeds from Twitter to update every 5 minutes.
If I set it to update for every 5 minutes, it will revert back to update every one hour after I restart Opera. This is only for Twitter feeds, other feeds are fine.
Is this a common problem for Twitter feeds + Opera, or just my system? Anyone have ideas on how to solve this?

I'm using Opera 10.51 on Windows 7 home premium 32bit.
In the twitter feed itself, there's a ttl restriction. Since Opera honors the feed author's wishes when it comes to checking the feed for updates, you can't set Opera to check for updates at a quicker interval than the author allows. For twitter, I think it's like 40 minutes or something. But, since Opera doesn't have a 40 minute option in the drop down, it uses the next interval available, which is 1 hour.
Opera has 2 known (as in, bug reports have been filed) bugs here.
1. Opera doesn't alert the user that a particular interval for a feed is not allowed. Opera instead just reverts it on you without telling you why.
2. Opera doesn't have many interval options, which forces you to often use a higher interval even though the site allows a slightly lower one.
Nothing we can do except wait for a fix. Been waiting for a fix for this for a while, so I'm not sure.

^ thank you for the explanation! Some of my other feeds actually also only able to auto update every 15 minutes. It just the Twitter update interval felt really long that I'm really bothered and ask about it here.. Now I know why, i don't have to worry that something might be broken in my browser..
