Problems with customizing after updating to 10.51
Well I just updated Opera to v10.51 from v10.something and it as usual it has been pretty annoying to try to get everything to look the way that it did before the update (Like getting rid of the "O" and getting my Menu Bar back). That's what I hate most about Opera, every time I update I have to recustomize everything and remove half a dozen new toolbars/buttons.Anyways, with the new light background color on the Appearance and Preferences windows the text is nearly invisible. I'm using the skin Zimple by serafins and I can not read anything on the Apperance or Preference windows unless I switch to a different skin (and I am attached to Zimple, I will quit using Opera altogether if I can't use Zimple). How can I either change the background color (preferable, back to what it was) or the text color to make it readable?
Another problem I have is when I start to type something into the Address Bar and the little window pulls down to try to help me auto-complete the URL I am typing the window looks completely different. It's not only a different color but not there are seperate areas for if the address is from my History or my Bookmarks. How can I remove the seperators and make it list addresses as cleanly and simply as it did before? Also, I'd like to remove the part that says "Search the Web for 'etc.'" if that is possible.
Please help, I'm tired of updating hoping to find cool new features and just finding that I have to work for hours to get my Opera to look the way it was before.

I think the skin isn't made for 10.5, maybe updating the skin could help, but the problem is the skin itself.
Unless you want to spend a good deal of time editing the skin, you should select a skin made for 10.5 from Appearance, Get more skins, New. Many things have changed since Zimple was made — Turbo, Link, and Unite for example, and old skins don't have icons for these new features.
If you want to edit the skin, fixing the text colour is no difficult — Find "text color" and replace light colours with black where appropriate, e.g. in the dialog skin.
If you don't want Opera to change then don't upgrade is one solution. The best way IMO is to install the new version in a new folder and use them both for a month or two so that you can get on with your work in the previous versiion while gradually reconfiguring the new version when you're not busy.

I can't just change the color of all of the text in the skin to a dark color, because aside from the Appearance and Preferances windows all of the backgrounds are black. But I doubt that there is a line in the skin's code to set the background colors for those windows. If there was a line like that then it should be overwriting Opera's new crappy default grey background. I guess my only choices are to switch to Firefox or use an old version of Opera (yay I can get the old Opera icon back!).
