Mail Client Date/Time handling broken? - Opera 10.51 looks akward
I have two computers (I name them Box-A and Box-B now) and I have Opera installed on them both. I use them side by side.I have a problem sending Emails, with the time in emails to be precise. Those have some shifting for exact integer values of hours. Let's say they are one hour in advance or one hour later but never correct.
My Setup:
- Box-A: Opera 10.51
- Box-B: Opera 10.10
I did not update Box-B because draft mails are not properly displayed in 10.51 so I wait for a fix first.
Both boxes have the Timezone GMT-1 and are configured using a timeserver to set their date and time.
Now let's assume it's 15:00 local time. Assume I have one Email account that is IMAP and it's used by both Boxes.
When I send an email from Box-B ('to' Box-A) then the Email will be written as recieved at 16:00 on Box-A (one hour in the future), even if it is 15:00. On Box-B the exact same email is written as 15:00 in the revcieve and in the sent folder (places a copy on IMAP server in SENT). But it's 16:00 in the recieve folder on Box-A as well as in Sent.
Now when I answer this on Box-A (to be 'send to' Box-B), Box-B will 'see' that answer one hour earlier, so that email then is date/timed 14:00.
Does anybody know if there is a problem with Opera 10.51 and handling date/time in Emails? Problem on handling timezones? Problem on dealing with Summertimer? Any Idea?
