New Password Manager bug

The new Password Manager exposes the following bug:
Log into a page where you don't have your password saved yet. BUT MISSTYPE your username.
Now probably you are redirected to the original login page, only with an added message that your user/pass combination is incorrect.

Of course the PM can't know this and asks you if you want to save. No DON'T CLOSE the PM and retype your CORRECT user/pass.

Now let the PM save your information. As you will see the next time, it has saved the WRONG combination.

Obviously using another login form doesn't close the PM bar from the original login.

You can test this here: http://anyhub.net/ (Nice file uploader with DIRECT download links which doesn't need an email address to create an account)
Using Windows 7 64Bit SP1 and of course Opera
(If nothing else stated the most current weekly) on a nice Dell Studio XPS 16!

How is this a bug? It's been that way from the first 10.50 alphas. In versions prior to 10.50, there was a pop up, and if you inserted the wrong info the best way to fix it was to say 'no' to remember and then try logging in again. Seems to me more of a feature request, assuming it's possible.

Of course it's a bug. The PM has to close itself as soon as a new instance of the PM wants to open itself.
Isn't this a very simple logic?

How could it EVER make sense, the way it is?
