problems after the upgrade

so i just recently upgraded opera from 9.6 to what ever its as now, im also a windows 7 user, now that ive upgraded it theres changes that i hate, and want to change back for instance, in windows 7 you get a grouped up tab view, so for opera if i hovered over it in the start bar a little preview would show up of the current tab i had open and well of the full browser basically, but now it shows large preview tabs for every tab i have open, and this is pointless for me, its annoying as i keep thinking i have more than one opera window open, i want to know how to get rid of this has im unable to use opera properly now, another problem i have is that now in the address bar if i start to put in the website say www.google.com when i start typing a drop down of other sites ive visited that match close to it , well before that drop down had a white backing, now theres nothing its see through , i cant see any of the website names, please tell me how to fix this, i want to know if theres any way to do it in this update before just going to uninstall it and go back to 9.6

sorry if this doesnt make much sense, but i suffer from dyspraxcia and i become very uncomfortable with large noticeable changes (hence the freaking out about what ive mentioned above) it also mean i have difficulty understanding things and explaining things

p.s sorry about the spelling, but to put it bluntly i suck at spelling and grammar
