multi tab is simply waste on these touch devices
hi there i don't know if its any good or not but nokia flagship touch devices are struggling to run opera mobile 10. opera mobile with its streamlined ui and multi tab interface seems a lot like cargo load on cart. i wonder what opera dev team had in mind as target devices, as there are very few symbian 60 devices to date with memory greater than 128M thanks to nokia with its far to planned policy. its many self acclaimed portable computers are shiped with very poor configurations. so ultimately is there a possibility of a workable web browser to current platform and web requirment! i wonder just like microsoft done with vista the resource hugging eye candy, opera had done same with its symbian browser project. but as its just a browser they got away with it. lets see what current devices do as mobile firefox dropped, and people with s60 logo left alone with opera.Well, i have experienced problems but none of which have anything to do with opera eating up resources. I am on a nokia 5800 runnin opera mobile final and can browse perfectly fine using 3 or 4 tabs. Seriously, what more do u want from a phone??? Expecting it to function as ur pc or laptop does is just dumb!!
It is what it is.
It is what it is.

who said about pc replacement
but with these phones and current softwares the memory is critical and one does not want frequent crashes and resets with low exe memory.
Thing is i expect mobile 10 final to be more memory friendly than beta 2 but its not to be
thats y freezed restting and crashing phones mostly you know this as well if u using the same

Hi there,
Opera Mobile with multitab capability is the best what could happen to the Symbian platform, probably! Opera 10 runs great on my Samsung i8910 Omnia HD, for example. UI experience on the Symbian default browser is poor (not to say something less polite!).
BTW, the Symbian default browser (on my phone) also has multitab capability, but it's hard to figure out how to work with it! Scary, actually.
If your Nokia device doesn't handle a decent (and fast!) browser why not trash it and get something else? Sorry, had to say this...
Thank you Opera, that you exist. You're not my favourite on the PC, but I love on my mobile!

I understand what u are saying. That's right most of Nokia s60 device have low Ram memory for running program (exe memory). So Opera Mobile 10 can not use on that device. My Nokia 6120classic also have this problem "Memory Full". Opera Mobile 10 eats lots of Ram memory for running on Mobile device for Opera Mobile 10 there must 64MB above RAM (exe memory) on Mobile Device. This kind of Devices are Latest but we have not this kinds of device so we can't use Opera Mobile ^_^
