Problems encountered in Opera Mobile 10 Final (For anyone else too)
Alright so I lagged big time in making a usual thread to report issues on Opera Mobile. So I i will not continue to make them with each release.as always anyone gets any issues regarding Opera Mobile your welcome to post them here
Also have to say Opera Mobile team since 9.5 beta to 10 final. You guys have put in a lot of hard work and really revamped the browser! Excellent work! You Listened to the community acknowledged it and acted upon it! So you guys deserve a pat on the back and a big vacation!
First thing have noticed so far in Opera Mobile 10 final yesterday actually is i was downloading a .cab file for my phone it was approx. 899 KB and Opera Mobile get "hanging" at around 853 KB. I restarted like two times and then just switched to Opera Mini 5 final which downloaded it blazingly fast.
I have an HTC HD2, and Opera 10 doesn't render pages correctly (where the "zoomed in" appearance is 1:1 at 100% zoom). Instead, 60% has to be used to get somewhere close to 1:1, but it still doesn't look right and images are horribly aliased. It seems to be a problem with all wvga devices on Windows Mobile.
If you agree with this, bother Opera developers so that it gets fixed. It's something simple, essential, and that should have worked correctly from the get-go. Instead, we'll be waiting for 10.1 to address the issue.

I have got an HTC HD WM 6.5 and Opera 10 doesn't render pages correctly too. I have the same issue posted by mdamyanov on 21 March 2010 (Bad rendering of mobile optimized site).
I think that the issue partly depends by the Opera settings. Infact, the problem happens just for some sites optimized for mobile when "mobile view" is setted “on”. Please, try www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/i/index.shtml
It is everytime ok.
But if I click on 'More from BBC News” (news.bbc.co/mobile) I will get a fine view just if "mobile view" is setted “off”.
Regards.

I don't know if this is a bug or if its not included with opera mobile 10 final. But there is no "warp scrolling" , and also when i click backspace and hold it it doesn't work. In opera mini 5 beta native for windows mobile when I hold down the backspace button it erases quickly.
I can't log into Google Voice all of a sudden. I was using Opera Mobile 10 Beta, and I installed the Final version thinking that it might help, but no dice with either.
uninstall all opera mobile, and then reboot phone and then download (m.opera.com) and reinstall , then check it again
I dont want to take the light away from Opera Mobile so I am continuing to suggest ideas for opera mobile since it has never let me down and been a trusty workhorse for me 1 the problem where adding a period when typing in a webform opera mobile "exits" you from the web form is extremely annoying 2 "warp scrolling" doesnt work in opera mobile as it should I havent got a anwser for this as it should 2, 4, 6, 8 keypad numbers should intiate warp panning and scrolling but it doesnt work 3 in opera mini holding down the spacebar and backspace will move the "blinking cursor" at warp speed in opera mobile only holding down the spacebar the cursor moves fast but holding down the backspace produces no action
hmm interesting hopefully opera can address why this is all happening possbily a minor update I have again a Sprint HTC Snap non touchscreen
My phone is a Samsung Code I220 running Windows Mobile 6.1 standard (non-touch screen, qwerty)
Opera Mobile 10 recently stopped loading on my phone. It seems to be trying to load, but never quite gets there. When I launch it, I get a pinwheel (hourglass?) for 3-4 seconds, then that goes away and comes back for 3-4 more seconds, then the Opera Mobile splash screen comes up.
The status bar on the splash screen fills up to about 80% then stops. I never get past that to the address bar or quick launch icons. I tried reinstalling Opera Mobile 10, but that did not fix the problem. Note that Opera Mini 5 beta does run on the phone.
Other processes that are running:
AlarmScheduler.exe
appman.exe
CallLogListener.exe
cdial.exe
connmgr.exe
cprog.exe
device.exe
filesys.exe
gwes.exe (RED X)
home.exe
MITsMan.exe
msgticker.exe
Nic.exe
repicht (NOT an EXE)
repilog.exe
services.exe
TaskMgr.exe
telshell.exe
voicecmd.exe
Does anyone have an idea how to get Opera Mobile running again?
thanks,
Steve

Thanks for the reply.
Again, Opera Mobile 10 hanging on splash screen...
According to 'Memory Information' after a reboot:
-Memory
total - 76.7 mb, used - 32..5 mb, free - 44.2 mb
-Storage
total - 123 mb, used - 97.7 mb, free - 25.8 mb
-Storage Card
total - 7572.0 mb, used - 2299 mb, free - 5372 mb
Applications running under Task Manager:
-ActiveSync (1.05 mb, 0% cpu)
-Task Manager (108k, 0% cpu)
-Memory Information (92.8k, 0% cpu)
Is gwes.exe supposed to show a red circle icon with an X through it? Seems like that may be the problem, but since I can't close that (whatever it is) in task manager, I can't test to see if that is what the issue is.
gwes.exe is using 4.51 megs and 0% cpu.
Opera10-armv41.exe is using 364k an 0% cpu after it hangs on the splash screen.
Thanks, Steve

Have actually submitted a bug report to Opera about this but here's a heads up for Opera Mobile 10 FINAL (Windows Mobile!) users...
Opera Mobile 10 Final for Windows Mobile has a slow memory leak issue such that repeated use (ie. opening Opera, loading webpage, exiting, opening again) will eventually (within one to two days) cause Windows Mobile to completely freeze up (randomly; can occur in any app) and require a remove-battery-cover soft reset. Using Opera Mobile 10 Final in conjunction with TaskFacade 4.02 and other memory-intensive apps like Adobe Reader LE speeds up the rate at which the freeze occurs. So-called "ram freeing" utilities like cleanRAM don't solve the issue; in fact running one actually causes other problems.
I've only been testing against custom ROMS running WM 6.5.3 (Miri's roms) on a HTC HD2, but the freeze effect from Opera Mobile 10 Final is consistently reproducible. When not using Opera Mobile 10 Final and relying only on Opera 9.7 for my web surfing, I have gone without a soft reset for 4 days straight, without the need of any use of "ram freeing" utilities - could have probably lasted longer but wanted to update some start menu icons.
Opera Mobile 10 beta 3 *doesn't* seem to have this problem.... hopefully they bother fixing this issue in the next Opera release (if it ever comes).
So yeah... anyone who has freezing problems on their WM phone and using Opera Mobile 10 Final, try using the beta3 release instead

I am having difficulty downloading movie files that aren't mpeg's
The beta would recognise them as movies and save them to the relevant folder in my documents.
The final version doesn't seem to realise .wmv files are files at all and tries to open them itself.
Anyone know why that might be happening and what i can do to fix it?
