cant download .avi files?

cant download .avi files?

what should i do?
i am currently using an opera mini 5 final.
hope someone posts something i could try.
uhh yeah download works fine on most file extensions except .avi and .Jar

What phone? Works just fine on Sony Ericsson K800i.

my phone unit is a Nokia N73.

I could not find any help on this, sorry I recall peeps say downloading can be sometimes limited by operator or on firmware level. However, this does not seem to be the case since you can download other file types. I recommend you to fill in the bug report wizard.

By the way, what file types you can donwload? Mp3, pdf, something else, what?

Thanks Chinmay In that case I would start to look for an explanation somewhere else than on Opera Mini 5.

i am able to download:
zip
mp3
mp4
flv
sis
sisx
rar
nth
tar
pdf
html
htm

i used to download avi files. Using the om5b2. But after installing om5f i had problems downloading it.

then i used the om5b2 again and its not able to download avi format too.

was there a change in opera mini's server?

A total mystery then because Chinu and I have no problems with .avi and .jar

I am, and I suppose Chinu also does. Although, I don't quite understand how it should affect.

yes a signed version.but it doesnt matter if its a signed or non signed.It maybe a problem of your operator network being down at the time of download of .avi or .jar.

imma try changing network tonight and give results afterwards.
