5800: page scrolling for touchscreens ...
Hi,Is there a way to do a Page Up/Page Down (or Page Left/Page Right) operation on touchscreen devices without a hardware keyboard like Nokia 5800? Maybe by tapping different portions of the screen or by using volume up down button?
As awesome as the finger swiping to scroll looks in the demos, it is tiresome and painful in actual usage when you are trying to read a long page :-(
Thanks,
Devendra
(seems to be impossible)

I agree that finger scrolling might be a bit tiresome on long pages.
I think the easiest solution is to use a stylus.
You get more precision, and scrolling is easier

Stylus or not, you still have to manually scroll back to the top of a page, and that can be quite a pain at times on big pages. A '>top' key would be much better, or a quick-scroll slide. It happened with Opera Mini so why it's not on OM I don't know - but there is the same problem with embedded browsers and with Skyfire, so Opera are not alone........
Because without fullscreen you can just press on the red title bar above the address bar, and then you automatically go to the top of the page.

+there must be the way to go fast to the bottom of the page also (useful in forums)

AAaarrrggh! Why wasn't that in the instructions (well, the bit I read anyway )??
I don't remember seeing it in the 'tips and tricks' thread either......
Thanks (and back to see what more I've missed)
