Mini 5 useless on Incognito

I have a Sanyo Incognito (SCP 6760). This is a very popular phone, but the Mini 5 interface is almost completely unusable on it.

1.) I cannot use NUMBERS. There is no numerical keypad on this phone; the numbers are accessed using the function key and the appropriate key along the top line of the QWERTY keyboard. For instance, 1 is FN-Q, 2 is FN-W, 3 is FN-E etc. When the FN button is pressed, it treats the key like a standard telephone's button #1, and it cycles through a long list of punctuation marks with a 1 at the end of the list! This was not the case in 4.2.

2.) I can't figure out how to CHANGE the Start Page addresses.

3.) In 4.2, pressing left or right acted as "page up" and "page down." I can't do this any longer, because these have been moved to the 2 and 8 keys of the "keypad," which I don't have.

4.) The "back" button on my QWERTY keyboard no longer functions, as it did in 4.2.

5.) It's WAY slower than 4.2.

6.) The jump to the next line of clickable text is very unreliable.

These are just the issues I can think of off the top of my head, and I'm certain there are others I can't remember. I'm really disappointed in the functionality of 5 after the stellar performance of 4.2. Most of the "upgrades" are completely unusable on this phone.

Has anyone gotten 5 to function like 4.2 on the Incognito?
