view mht with opera mini?

i installed opera mini on my ipod, but it doesnt seem to have the option for opening files?
am i missing something?

if thats not possible, does someone know how to view/open .mht on the ipod/iphone?

Opera Mini opens only pages saved on Opera Mini. No other locally saved file formats supported. Opera Mini uses so called Opera Binary Markup Language.

claims to read those, i tried it, but it doesnt when i manually drop a .mht into its document folder and open it (it says unsupported format)?!
anyone another idea?

You can save files in OBML format in Opera Mini (on my phone anyway - I don't have an iPhone).

I think there was a build of Opera Desktop once that could save OBML files too - I wish they'd (re-?)introduce that feature.
