security certificate problem

When going to a particular secure website requiring a security certificate I continuously receive a pop up asking will I accept the certificate and I okay it and check retain it. However, when checking preferences security certificate manager approve it loses the stored certificate. This only happens when restarting opera.

This bug has been around for several versions of Opera. I don't know why it hasn't been addressed and fixed.

I have a problem with the prompt for mail.yahoo.com [Opera 10.53 Final]

When I click 'Approve' everything seems to work fine, but I want to disable this warning if possible.

Click the "Security" tab -> Check "Remember my choice for this certificate" -> Click "Approve"

The whole point of this thread is that what you suggest does not work. Never has.

I've got Opera 10.54 on Windows and the remember checkbox does work (even after restarting Opera), but it only works if you are approving a certificate with a warning. If you reject the certificate and ask Opera to remember your choice it doesn't do anything. It doesn't even remember it for the rest of your session.

Problem is still here on Opera 11.10.

Do the guys at Opera even know about this bug? Do they care about this annoyance? I find it sad to believe they lost contact with their user base like this, not giving a rat's ass about annoying bugs and their persistence of not fixing them ever.
