Share on Twitter button doesn't works properly.
I've just discovered this. When you do a comment in a blog post or click in a comment "direct" link and after click in the "Share to Twitter" button the link that appears in the tweet is the one to the comment.
Example: go here and click "Share to Twitter" button of the blog post.
I just tried that and can't confirm. If I go to that page and click on the "Share to Twitter" button the link is correct. http://my.opera.com/chooseopera/blog/symantec-security-report If however I use your link, then yes the link is http://my.opera.com/chooseopera/blog/symantec-security-report#comment25206281
Did you by any chance use the "Share to Twitter" button after you had posted?
That's the only reason I can think of that would result in this behaviour. Though I don't know if that is the way it should work or not.

The link to the comment itself is shared instead of the link to the blog post.
(Using the link I give to you to follow - that is the comment link!)

As I said. If I go to the page normally (not through your link) and click on the "Share to Twitter" button.
The proper link to the blog post http://my.opera.com/chooseopera/blog/symantec-security-report is what gets posted on Twitter.
It is not linking to the comment as it is in your example.

that is because you have commented on the post, and that comment/your comment id is appended to the link. when you click share in twitter it basically copies the URL that is currently there in the address bar.
try http://my.opera.com/chooseopera/blog/symantec-security-report link and click on share and it will be all fine.
That's obvious, it copies the link that are in the address bar, which is wrong.
Now I need to control myself to share to twitter before commenting?
What if I come to the post if a friend sent me the URL of him comment?
The user can't foresee this behavior. it must be fixed: whatever is the URL on the address the "share to twitter" should send the post URL to the twitter's tweet field.
Guess why I'm reporting this?
> When I tried to share the URL it was above 140 characters.
The reason?
> The comment "#id"
Hi, I'm here to add the information that the issue is still not fixed. StumbleUpon and Reddit are also affected.
And worse, StumbleUpon and Reddit sharing links doesn't work properly:
I tried to share my post on them and the URL posted was just "/rafaelluik/blog/etcetc" without the "my.opera.com" part.
