Opera Turbo suddenly stopped connecting,

I get 'Request queued for .....' and it never connects. I have to disable Turbo in order to load a page.
This just started happening in the last hour or so.

Version 12.16 Build 1860 Windows 7

Check to see if "Enable HTTP 1.1 for proxy" in enabled. Preferences > Network > Proxy Servers. Opera Turbo and accelerators provided by an ISP use a proxy.

Thank you. It was not checked and maybe never was. I was connecting alright this morning without it checked. Now it is checked and connecting seems to be the same as with it off.
