How to watch Youtube videos without Youtube XL

Okay, so I uploaded a video on Youtube with details on what I am about to say. I have been hearing a lot of people complaining about how Youtube doesn't work on the Wii and everyone tells them to use XL. Well, Youtube XL doesn't have every video regular Youtube has! Trust me, I tried. Luckily 2 days before the new Youtube update I discovered a secret way to watch Youtube videos without XL!

1. First go to the regular version of Youtube.
2. Next, go to any video you want to see.
3. Click the "page information" button (the little "i" button)
4. Then, click the "edit address" button. (the "www" button)
5. Now erase everything from "&" and onwards. (sometimes there's nothing and other times there's "&feature=related")
6. Next, add "_popup" after "watch" and badabing! You can now watch videos.

Be sure to credit me when telling others about my discovery!

I already knew how, also if you want full screen click the open in another window icon.

They have also a "standard site" link up at the right hand corner that takes you to standard Youtube.
Sometimes when you have viewed problems from both sides, all you see is different issues but the same problem.

There are some videos that don't have that icon, which is why I said what to do when there is none! Oh, and no one else knew about how to watch the youtube videos in the steps I gave them! One more thing, the "standard youtube" is the regular version of Youtube I was telling everyone to use in the steps!

A MESSAGE TO ALL: In any time during the future, Youtube videos do not play on the Wii anymore again, please follow the steps provided.

They actually do, but it depends what videos you watch....I know that College Humor is one of the channels that don't work. Other than that I have not had any trouble. Even some of the videos listed on Youtube XL don't work.

If your havin issues playing all videos, delete your browser and load it back on...Thats how you clean the cache, on Wii and DSi.

By the way what are you trying to watch thats not working.

This was before Youtube worked efficiently with the Wii. Videos would only play if you play it as a popup, but some videos didn't have the popup button so I wrote this in order for people to be able to watch those videos. (I had this problem with some Digimon videos that wouldn't play and had no popup button)

Yeah, but Opera has nothing to do with it so the YouTube Wii Channel is off-topic to this board. Just letting people know before they start posting about that here.
