Using Opea Link to share security warnings fast?!

Hi,

I'm bombarded with WoW Phishing mails since weeks. Not that I click them, but I think an ordinary user could do.

Idea:
What's about using the Opera Link functionality to collect Spam and Phishing information in a global database. And all Users, who want to use this database (with statistically calculation) can sync this information, too. So all mails and websites which matches this database content could show a warning to the user immediately.

Workflow story:
Pete is an computer scientist he knows Phishing techniques well. Sarah is an ordinary Opera User and uses Opera Mail, too.

8:00h:
Pete is getting up and receives new Phishing/Spam Mails. He is synced with the new Opera Security database. Now he marks the Phishing Mail and the it's Phishing Link. If he marks this mail with a "Warning" tag, all links inside this mail are disabled and their Domains aren't browsable without a "Phishing Warning Dialog". This Information now syncs via Opera Link to "Operas Security Database".

8:02h:
Sarah is getting up and turns on her Opera Mail. She also gets Pete's marked Phishing mail. She is synced via Opera Link to "Operas Security Database", too. Before she has the chance to click the phishing mail, it's marked with a "Warning" tag, and listed in "Spam" folder. If She now opens the mail she get's a warning and the Phishing link is deactivated - until she removes the "Warning" tag.

This way the Opera Users are faster to inform all other Opera Users about security relevant mails and websites. Only statistically relevant data submitted by many users feed the database and is synced. This way you get the newest security informations beside FraudProtection.

What do you think about this idea?
