Movement of spam to received folder.

On one instance of Opera, on Mint8, the spam will automaticly move from the 'unread' to 'received' folder when the 'unread' is opened.
On another (Opera on Mint7) this does not happen . I have been unable to get the Mint7 instance to mimic the Mint8 operation.

What haven't I found?

Mike
Opera 10.10 mail client on Mint7.

Opera doesn't have folders and emails are never moved. (see http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=513921 )

Check the "show spam" setting in both your unread and received filters

<<emails are never moved.>>
could of fooled me. Must be why it doesn't say "move spam to trash".
you are right of course, it's just the writer of the drop down menu doesn't quite
believe you.

However the "show spam" setting in unread was exactly what I was looking for.
tnx

Well, if a mail is hidden here and shown there, it looks like moving but in fact the email hasn't moved a bit. They just name it "moving" to confuse people. And because essays don't fit into context menus
