Editing "Open with" (another browser) options
Hi, I've been looking for a way to edit the "Open With" submenu preferences, without any luck, I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this. My situation is as follows: Opera is my main web browser, but I use Google Chrome as a secondary browser for the occasional webpage that refuses to be displayed correctly, as well as some pages in which I need to use some Extensions I've downloaded for that browser. The problem is that I am running Chrome with modified settings (via parameters appended in my shortcuts), but when I use the "Open With" functionality in Opera, it opens the default executable (without the parameters), which makes a mess out of my configurations, so to prevent this I need Opera to send the same parameters when launching Chrome.I've been thinking it could be done either by modifying the Right Click menu options, or some configuration file with the "Open With" settings, but so far I haven't been able to find a way to do either one of these things. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
This doesn't work due to a known bug. See this earlier thread.
Now fixed in the latest build of Opera 10.52 which has reached the Release Candidate stage.

If that seemed less than clear: Your operating system and Opera won't do this for you. (The Open With menu is internal, supplied to Opera by the operating system. Launching with flags that invoke alt-behavior isn't much supported.) But –except for some 10.5x's along the way to final release– you can manually add this functionality via standard Opera actions.

Thanks guys, I wasn't able to change the right click menu buttons through standard_toolbar.ini, but as per your advice I modified directly Chrome's entries in the registry to point to the "extended" location and voila! Everything seems to work as I intended. Why didn't I think of it sooner? Ended up a little bit disappointed in Opera's lack of options or documentations regarding really extended and obscure settings (like the right click menu buttons), but then again it already has so much configurability (<-is that even a word?) compared to any other browser I know, that it's hard to get all flustered about it. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help!
