intel site example:

*IE8 and Firefox 3.6.3 displays it correctly.

They're probably using non utf-8 characters in a utf-8 document?
It was a bright, cold day in April...

I have experienced this myself on google.com using Opera mobile 10 beta 2/3 . Any users out there have the same problem with the squares on any sites? I think it may be related to how Opera is reading the data. I'm not sure if it is the source or format of the data that is the problem. I am a newbie, just offering for 2 cents in an attempt to help.

The site looks fine here, but the text where you see rectangles contains a zero width space.

Why they use this I don't know, but you need to use a different font to avoid the problem.
