Opera Mobile 10 final will not load when attempting to open

Hello all,

I have a samsung i220 (code) from metropcs, running 6.1 standard .

I have been running opera mobile from back when I had to user "fake cursor" to accept EUA.
For the last few months I was running Opera mobile 10 beta 3 with support for non touch phones.

All was well, I of course encountered random problems at times however was satisfied enough to continue using vs IE or Skyfire.

Just yesterday I tried to open the browser and it will not load.
It stops loading at the black screen with "Opera Mobile" displayed and status bar, and "Loading..."
Everytime I try to open it stops at the same part of loading which is 75% of the status bar.

I have tried to reboot phone, uninstall/reinstall, I have even tried DL version 10 final all with the same result.
Continues to stop loading at about 75%.
From day 1 I have program has been installed on memory card, which I have plently of memory available.
The program remains running and never times out or anything...

I tried searching the forum for others that may have experienced this same problem but have come up empty handed.

Any Questions/suggestions/insight will be greatly appreciated.

I have the same phone and had a similar issue. I have my apps installed on a 8gig card. I dont recall the exact name of the appbut I un-installed it because it was a pos. Then Opera would load like 99% of the way and would just exit. I rebooted and still the same thing. I uninstalled app and deleted teh directories. then reinstalled. and was ok. I tried to do a reinstall a couple of times with out an un-install and it never worked and i tried with direcetories in still no luck. it wasnt until i wiped out everything that it came back good as new.
hope this helps. also i dont know about the face cursor thing you were talking about but i use "mymobilizer" and i can control the phone thru my laptop. its mobile vnc. so selecting the accept button wasnt an issue.

Thank you very much, you mentioned something that I didn't think of trying. I was on the verge of wiping my phone back to new, glad I didn't do that. What did the trick for me was after un-installing, deleting the folders that were left behind. That's the one thing I did not try, it's amazing how something like that will stop a program dead in it's tracks. Now I am happy, I can lay internet explorer to rest again. I have read many things negative about version 10 but for my usage hopefully it will keep me satisfied. Thanks again for your insight, you solved my problem.
