Revisiting the rules

Can someone please remind me of the forum rules? And just tell me, how do people get banned? This will be beneficial to the new users.

Can we revisit the rules once again? Help me out I'm a bit lost!
Keep it simple. Tizz.

Rules of Conduct

Please follow these rules of conduct when participating on this site.

1. Don't make inflammatory posts or threads just to stir up the forum. Don't exaggerate just to make a point. Respect your fellow forum members, and don't vent your frustrations at them. No trolling.
2. No personal attacks. Attack the idea, not the person. Never post negative threads about other forum members.
3. No porn, sexually explicit, racist, warez related, or otherwise illegal posts. Posting information on cracking software which requires registration could get you banned.
4. Avoid foul language, especially in thread titles. Excessive swearing will be dealt with.
5. Flooding and/or spamming means instant ban. Turn off caps lock before posting, too.
6. No multiposting. (Posting the same post or thread more than once.)
7. Contact a moderator if you disagree with a moderation. If you think you have been treated unfairly, contact the moderator directly rather than posting in the forum.

Posting Rules

Please follow thes rules when posting new threads. Some of these also apply when replying in existing threads.

Remember that people are there to help, and they do so of their own free will. By following these rules, you make sure that people are more willing to help.

However there is an escape route where many of us are gathering to avoid Armagedon:
see The DnD Sanctuary for gaming, for discussions on Browsers or anything in particular, and just Lounging about.

Bending the rules is fine. Though sex with the dead is old hat.

Sometimes it is a suicide poster, a sock puppet of someone who wants to get a thread closed. There is one poster, a bully who in a threads has bragged about help getting at least two people banned and is trying to ban a third person banned. I am still waiting for the proof of his allegations concerning my criminal misconduct, which he has previously promised that are forth coming.

You'll get used, forget the forum rules.
Users defined rules are your problem and, at the barbarian way, they are consuetudinary, not written.

I always follow the rules. Rules are very important.
If we don't have rules we will be monkeys. Or Portuguese.
I like rules. Rules are good to health.
Those who don't follow rules will burn in hell.
Rules are for our own good.
We like rules.
We need rules.
Rules are good.
We want more rules.
