"File open" dialog issue?

I use Opera on XP64 with Foxit PDF reader, and PDF's should open outside Opera.

I'm noticing when I click on an arbitrary PDF the "Open" option is dimmed out, only "Save" is available. If I press ESCAPE then reload the page, sometimes I do get the Open option back but it's unreliable.

Before I report a bug, has anyone else noticed this or able to verify or comment? Or is there a quick fix?

Details:- New in recent snapshots (3366 here), XP64, clean install of both, + Foxit Reader 3.x

I find that PDF files open directly with Foxit Reader if I set that option. Go to Preferences, Downloads, MIME types, and edit the setting for application/pdf to use Foxit Reader without showing the open dialogue.

It's set to "show download dialog", which is what it should be. The thing that makes me think it's a bug is that sometimes when I reload or retry, I do get an "open" option, other times it's greyed out.

I was wondering if there's any non-bug reason I could be getting that?

I remember seeing a similar topic some days ago, tried to search quickly but didn't find it.. maybe somebody else remembers what topic it was?

Yep, it has been reported more than once. Especially, see http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=504641

Yes, that was it, good that you found it yourself. Reported here in forums (in that other topic), yes, but is it reported with the wizard to Opera? I didn't see any mention of that in that topic.

EDIT: whoops, missed that you already inquired whether it's reported or not in that topic. Sorry.
