E-mail Sent Notification Box not displaying?
I've been using Operamail for over 5 years and largely problem free.Although I have Opera 10.10 for primary browsing(Downgraded from 10.51 due to various bugs and usability issues), I have kept my e-mail on a separate 9.20 installation.
Every time without fail when I have sent an e-mail I will get the "E-mail sent" notification in the bottom right hand corner.
My brother in law with 10.10 installation reported to me a few months back that his "E-mail sent notification" has for some reason disappeared.
I originally thought that it must be a slight problem with my brother in laws PC rather than Opera, however the other day I was helping my mother with her PC (10.51) and I noticed she also no longer gets the "e-mail sent" notification.
I checked the preferences in the settings menu for both the browser and the e-mail account settings but could not find any setting related to the e-mail sent notification.
Does anyone know how I can get the "e-mail sent " notification back again?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that monamar,
that explains why my 9.27 still has that feature.
I does beg the question though, why was it gotten rid of in the first place?
It's reassuring to see that the e-mails have been sent from your machines.
When I used my mum's machine a few days ago to send e-mail from, you click on the send button and nothing appears to happen, and it would be nice to know that something is happening rather than nothing at all.
So Opera please bring it back.
If the email is in "sent", it's been sent. As long as it's not sent, the outbox will have a little (1) next to it, and you'll know it's not sent yet. So just look at the panel.

I fully understand that WildEnt, but all the same the sent notification would be better.
It's kinda like when driving, when you indicate to turn left you expect to see your dashboard showing you that you are indeed indicating left, of course the dashboard doesn't need to display this but I'd bet drivers wouldn't be too happy if car manufacturers removed the feature.
