How can I input CJK with 10.52/Linux???

Recently tried 10.52 snapshot...and found out that my input method (currently using ibus) is not working at all.
I tried to change input method trigger keys but still nothing so far. sad
I am using Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04. Also tried with Archlinux...but the result was same: no input method. sad

Is there any way to enable multilingual input method in linux snapshot? :S

Might be better to ask in the Opera for UNIX forum, so thread moved ... but I know they have previously had a lot of problems with this area.

Shall I file an issue/bug for this to track this issue?

I have gedit on the other screen to type in Chinese ... or if I am in a fluster, I open Chromium to do Chinese input, close and resume in Opera. With each feature fulfilled and checked off, Opera is gradually becoming THE browser on Ubuntu/Linux! ... for me anyway. wink
