Mac: quit doesn't quit

Opera 10.10 (build 6790) on OS X 10.5.8

Sometimes quit in all its forms won't quit the program (command-Q, Q from the File menu); when all Opera windows closed, these commands open a new window.

Seems to happen after Opera has been open for a while (more than a couple of days).

Not a big deal, force quit works, as does shutting down the machine [no data loss/corruption] just wondering if anyone else has seen this.

O/M2 12.16 (Build 1860) on MacBook OS X 10.8.5

10.10 on Linux has the same problem.

Platform

Opera will not quit unless using "Force Quit". Mac will not shut down if Opera open because operation will have timed out due to Opera not quitting.

Any one have any ideas? Do the Opera support folks read these posts?
