Qwerty Keyvboard issue on Omnia Pro b7320
Phone: Omnia Pro b7320Issue: Qwerty Keypad acting weird when typing letters that also act as numbers.
eg.
Key D has 4 as the number option which gives you a GHI4 letter combination when trying to enter the letter D into the search or location bar, is there anyway to configure this to work correctly or is this a bug?
I had the same problem. I saw where an opera guy said to go to Settings, Advanced, and then select Full Screen Edit. But, when I went to Advanced on my Samsung Impression, I saw no such option. However, I did see an option called Opera keyboard. I pressed on it and then selected Never. It worked! Well, at least if I made sure to go into virtual keyboard mode. For the Samsung Impression you do this by: click on to the text box, then a blue screen comes up. If you start typing now, it will still be using phone pad type. You have to touch the blue box with your finger, then slide out you keyboard and type away in qwerty!
