Opening pdf files crashes/freezes Opera

Version
10.52

Build
3363

Platform
Win32

System
Windows NT 6.0

XHTML+Voice
Plug-in not loaded

My computer is Vista Basic - am I using the wrong version of Opera?
I have now downloaded Opera 3 times and the problem gets solved for maybe half a day. I clear the cache, xcache and temp downloads.

I'm pleased with Opera otherwise but my business/income involves me having to open pdf files and Opera just isn't doing it for me.

Any help gratefully received.
Thanks

I thought this bug was fixed in Opera 10.52, but its not. The current available solutions:
  1. Open PDF files in an external viewer
  2. Use the PDF-XChange plugin.
  3. Use the Foxit Reader plugin for Mozilla

Yep, if you use Adobe Reader, just upgrade it to the latest, or use one of Pesala's other suggestions.
