[snapshot-6322 fails to launch]opera: failed to install fonts
On one of my installs opera fails to start as follows (removing ~/.opera-testing has no effect)$ opera-testing
open: Permission denied
opera: failed to install fonts
some more info: I installed from the tarball on 64 bits mandriva cooker and I can launch opera as root
What distribution do you use?
Permission denied is an error that occurs if there are missing executable flags.
Also, what is opera-testing? Is it a custom script?

That's correct but mdv cooker is pretty stable by now. Anyway opera-testing is of course what you get when you install opera in an alternative directory from the tarball installer
It seems fixed already with opera-10.53-6330.x86_64.linux (note I didn't run any updates for mandriva between last time)
