Opera 10.51: Additional Opera instances closes when the last tab is closed.

This feature is new to me. I've been using Opera for a long time and I've always been able to have multiple windows open, even if there are no active tabs in a given window.

1. Here I have an open Opera window. This is the second open instance on the pc (opened with CTRL+N in the "mother window").
2. I have only one tab opened. If I were to close this tab, the whole window will close it self.

This is somewhat problematic for me. I'm using Opera at work and I like to have the different applications lined up on the task bar. Now one of my Opera windows closes regularly and I have to keep opening a new one.

Are there any settings in opera:config or in Settings to make Opera not close the entire window?
I did some searching, but couldn't find relevant options.

Any tips?

For the benefit of others, that's in Preferences, Tabs, Additional Tab options, Allow windows with no tabs.
