10.52 build 3370 freezes explorer on Windows7 x64
Well the subject says it all. When I run Opera then Windows Explorer freezes and you can't select any other running programs / windows or use the task bar until you close Opera.I had the same problem with 10.51 Final but I am also sure this has only happened in the last few weeks.
Yes. I've seen this on Windows XP Home SP3 too, but if I close Opera, I still cannot access the Windows Start menu. I have to terminate explorer.exe from task manager, then run it again.
I'm not quite sure what is triggering this though, as it doesn't always happen.

I had something like this too, but with Windows Live Messenger on Vista. Until I closed it/it crashed I couldn't do anything, but messaging in the opened window. I don't think it is a bug from Opera, but a weird error/crash/virus or something in Windows.
Also this is quite hard to reproduce or report. And how many times it happens to you guys?

Any particular sites you guys visiting when it freezes? Google maps f.ex?

Happened again when I closed down last night — not browsing any special sites, just opening a lot of threads on My Opera, and watching a few videos on the BBC or iPlayer.
Though it does seem to happen only after browsing for a while it doesn't have to be that long, an hour or less is enough to trigger this problem.

Is there a way to get Inspector IIXII working while having Visual Studio installed? Windows seems to prefer the VS debugger...
Using Windows 7 64Bit SP1 and of course Opera
(If nothing else stated the most current weekly) on a nice Dell Studio XPS 16!

This happens immediately I start Opera - I use Speed Dial as my start page.
Can't get any logs / crash reports because, apart from Opera, the rest of the system locks up, then, when I quit Opera the whole system starts working again. When I quit Opera it stays in the task bar for a few seconds before completely closing but it isn't crashing.
I removed all of the Windows updates for April but still had the same problem. This even happens in Safe Mode.
OS: Windows 7 Premium x64 with all the latest updates.
Graphics Card: Nvidia 8600 GT (XFX) with latest drivers
RAM: 4 GB
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+
To make things even stranger Opera runs alright if I start IE8 x32 first and then run Opera and then everything is fine, even if I then close IE8 and continue to run Opera everything works fine. If I then close Opera and restart it then the whole system locks.

Some more information on this issue:
I am using 10.53 Build 3374 as my main browser and I have also tested this on latest build of 10.60.
I did a clean install of 10.53 and there was no problem as described above. I installed the latest Adobe Flash plugin and the problem immediately reoccurred and it didn't even clear once I had uninstalled Adobe Flash. So I uninstalled Opera completely and re-installed it. Did not install Adobe Flash and the problem has not re-occurred.
I also use Internet Download Manager (IDM) and if I activate the 'advanced browser integration' in the General options the problem reoccurs with Opera. Deactivating 'advanced browser integration' clears the problem.
