Opera and flash - needs huge amount of memory and CPU power

Hi, guys. Since the new Opera came out I'm having a problem with it when it comes to playing flash videos. When I start a video, at the beginning Opera takes more than 50-60% of the CPU power. Memory-level is ok. But than after playing the video for some time (just one single tab with a flash video in it - no other tabs opened), Opera starts to suck the memory of my computer dry. Here's an example:

I reinstalled both Flash and Opera but it still does the same thing.

Any ideas how to fix this?

With the 10.52 betas and 10.53 I cannot play streaming videos smoothly, nor video or audio files from my hard drive with a media player when Opera is running.

CPU and memory usage are not high, compared with Opera 9.x, and the hard drive files play fine when Opera 10.5x isn't running.

When affected, the files jitter and stall or go into slow motion. For online files, the download indicator shows that plenty of the file beyond the playing point is cached.

Memory: 250.000k

I think it's just the Flash plugin. Read about the same problem under Linux. Oh, well...
