Opera, please save files as it should
just couple examples (for Opera 10.51 and .52 also):-

try downloading .ogg file [http://www.archive.org/download/BS015/BS015-Black.ogg], you'll end up with .ogx file unplayable with your player -
http://sourceforge.net/projects/octclipse/files/
try downloading tgz (tar gziped) file [http://sourceforge.net/projects/octclipse/files/Octave%20DBGP%20Debugger/0.9.1/octave_dbgp_0.9.1.tgz/download], you'll end up with .gtar file (then figure out what to do with the file if you are not familar with the problem) -
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2002-05/msg01648.html
try downloading attachment [http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2002-05/msg01648/rxvt-here.reg], it will be saved as .mp3 !? - etc...
WTF?
