Opera not loading images on PIXIV

Hello...

I use Opera Browser since years, but when I installed Opera 10.51 and then this new Opera 10.52 i was not capable anymore to see images from PIXIV community ( http://www.pixiv.net ) where I am a registered user.

No any response even if I change properties of the page. It just loads ".gif" images but no jpegs and/or thumbnails.

During loading of the page the progressive counter of the elements tells that there are number n-th elements present in the page:

1/33, (or perhaps 1/44 or so on), 2/33, 3/33, but once it it reads 33/33 it stops as if Opera had had loaded all the elements in the page... but unfortunately it shows nothing, because it had not performed the correct operation as previous versions of Opera did flawlessly without any problem.

Here is a screenshot:

PIXIV no images.jpg

In the void spaces where are the head titles of the images (some head titles are in japanese and there is also one marked "AB!" nd another marked "Here we go" in roman characters), there should be visible the images.

But as you can see Opera loaded nothing.

What's the problem?

Any settings I must change? Any suggestion?

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for the welcome on Opera site and for the quick answer.

Yes. Show Images is enabled and set to "3".

But the problem of images not loaded it is only on this site, not on other sites where images are loaded correctly with no problems.

Also gifs and animated gifs were present in the page. If settings were different than "3", then IMHO I think that also gif images had had being hidden or missing too...

I think I have the same problem.
It seems only to occur when I surf on my office computer.
On my computer at home, it works well.
It may due to some accelerating methods in Opera, because IE works for the same homepage.
I suppose that the website blocks connections which are not requested from the same page.
(I can not explain it clearly....My English is not good.
Websites don't want the others hyperlink their images, so they only give access to those requests from their own pages.
You can not directly connect to the same image from the other website or from the address bar.)

Now I show some tests:
1. http://www.pixiv.net/ on Opera
cap-1.jpg
images can not be shown.

2. Using the function "Check elements" (not sure the exact words in English) to find out the address and name for the 1st image.

3. Now, try to view the image (address bar)
cap-3.jpg

4. in IE, it works!
cap-4.jpg

5. If pasting the image address to the adderss bar and reload.....
cap-5.jpg

Always.... the Error 403 Forbidden occurs.

It really annoying and not happens on all computer (ex. at home, opera works well). I searched several time on web and find no solutions to solve.

Maybe I should go back to lower version....???...sigh....

I wonder if it is something related with the headlines included in the square that contains the image.

IMHO Opera has multilanguage coding support (western language, japanese, UTF8, UTF16) but went crazy when it codifies some pages as western but with images containing headlines in japanese (or viceversa it reads the page in correct japanese but expect western characters headlines when loading the images...)

Sorry me too can't explain better and I am not a programmer so I am just silly wondering.

Dear RaffaeleMegaby,
I think I have found the way to show it.
You can try if it works for you.
Click the key [F12] to show the quick menu.
Activate the option: Send Referrer Information.
That's all....
Good luck^^
