Opera 10.52 Password-Manager broken

Hi there,

Since Opera 10.52 installed itself, my password-manager won't work any longer.
If I click the wand-button or type Ctrl+Enter the right login-name appears in the form, but the password doesn't. That's it.
There's nothing to do about it, I've even tried deleting the data in my password-manager, re-saving the username-password combination etc., but the password-manager just won't let me log in. (I have activated the Masterpassword to, if this is of any help).

I can't be the only one having this problem. What's wrong?

Thanks for helping,

Leo

Fine here 10.52, xp sp3. I`ll give further feedback if I notice any unusual behavior.

Well, why doesn't it with me?
I have no old neither unusual plug-ins, ..
I have the "Opera 9.5 Standard skin wCLIM" active, and I have a "read it later" web-based solution automatically enabled in the background.
Could that actually affect the password-manager in a way that it constantly fails to submit my passwords before hitting "log-in"?
That really is a pain, but I have to admit that re-installing previous versions such as 10.5 did not help either..

Thankful for any suggestions,

Leo

Several similar problems were resolved by doing this:

In Preferences, Security, click on Security Protocols. Then open the details tab. Enable all check-boxes and OK to accept the changes.

This solved a login problem at Gmail for me.

Still didn't work.

I tried to do a complete new installation, but failed: Opera won't forget my preferences. How do I run a clean new installation, without Opera keeping my previous data (like skins, preferences, as well as saved passwords?). That way, it should actually work.

Thanks for any help,

Leo

You have to delete your profile directory too. opera:about will give you the location of your profile directory
I would make a backup of it first though as it contains your bookmarks, passwords etc.

A fresh installation did not do the job, but now deleting the passwords one by one and re-saving them did the job. Whatever the problem was, at least everythink works fine again.

Thanks for your effort, guys.
