Opera's abuse of the tab order (bug)
So this started happening with 10.5 I think, it has been annoying me ever since. I figured I'd leave it a bit to fix it, but no dice. Basically I have set minimise tabs to enabled and set to cycle in recently used to order.Say I go to a wikipedia article and open up a bunch of tabs for additional reading in the background. So I have one tab I've seen and 5 in the background which I have yet to look at.
Now I want to keep the initial tab for reference so I minimise it. Opera then sends me to the last tab (fifth) opened in the background instead of the first one. This always happens if upon minimising a tab there are only "unseen" tabs. If there's a seen tab, the error doesn't occur. A lot of times, the tab order is very important to me, I open things in the order I want to go through them. Sadly, lately Opera has been breaking this.
Any ideas what's up? Is there a setting I've missed? Or is it the bug I assume it is.
imagine accepting the truth
It's a known bug.

The DnD Sanctuary — a safety net for My Opera's demise.
Opera 10.5 opens background tabs behind the current tab (and in front of inactive tabs), rather than behind all open tabs as Opera 10.1 and earlier did. Actually, the earlier Qt4 builds for Linux did also (even 10.1), but the Windows and Qt3 Linux builds were as described. See any post where I've referred to "stacking order" - if you "restore" tabs (or Cascade All) they look like they're stacked on top of each other, hence my term stacking order.
