Disappointed with Opera 10.52 for Mac
I just downloaded and installed 10.52 and I'm disappointed on a number of accounts.1. The intertial style scrolling just feels jittery, not smooth at all.
2. I loved being able to "Left Click Right Click" gesture or vice versa to go back or forward, but now It brings up the right click menu when ever I do it, sometimes clicking something on that menu, and generally making the browsing experience more annoying.
3. The search bar in the upper left hand corner isn't rendering correctly at all, here is a picture:

When I click customize, it suddenly comes back, but the second I'm done, it looks like that again.
4. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get bookmarks into my address bar (like the Wikipedia, Amazon, and Google squares above). I accidently deleted one and can't get it back. I've been using Opera for 3+ years, so it's not like I'm unfamiliar with the browser. I thought it was just drag and drop, but apparently that has changed.
5. Youtube videos embeded in web pages don't work properly. Clicking on them is usually unresponsive, though when I do sometimes get them to play, I can't pause them, fast forward, or double click on them to bring me to the youtube page. It's possible this is a youtube problem and not an Opera problem, but they were working fine before this update.
I like the new look, it's as fast as always, and I'm sure lots of the under the hood stuff has really been improved, but if these things don't get fixed, I'll probably just got back to 10.10 for a while.

Same here, Logitech V470. Other than that, coming from 10.1 haven't had any problems; also feels much snappier than before.
Well, at least 10.52 works for you... I just get the application menu (that doesn't work), and an entry

(Yes, I did try thrasing my prefs and AppSupport directories)
Would this be their way of phasing out support for 10.4 and/or PPC?

So I tried 10.53 and ALL THESE PROBLEMS STILL EXIST. What's wrong here Opera? Am I the only person having these problems, because they are doing a good job a persuading me to just switch to Chrome or Firefox. Please fix atleast ONE of these problems or after 3 years of enjoying your product, I''ll go else where for a browser.

Nothing is wrong with Opera. They fixed a security issue in 10.53. You can't expect Opera to lick the soles of your foots and fix things YOU think are important before other more important things. If you think Opera should have delayed a security fix because of some stuff only you are having problems with, that's quite insane.

Looks like it.
