Windows Native Skin has lost cosmetic features in 10.52

The Windows Native skin in version 10.52 has lost a bit of its formally sublime beauty.

It looked like this in 10.51:

but looks like this in 10.52:

I don't know if this qualifies as a bug, but it should definitely be fixed in 10.53.

Yes, I was just about to post this, it looks horrible! It reminds me of some older version, the tabs look wrong. Think I will be sticking to 10.51 until this is changed.

You can of course use the 10.51 skin in 10.52...

If 10.51 is still installed, copy the Windows Native Skin compressed file ("windows_skin.zip") to your desktop. It is normally located at C:\Program Files\Opera\skin.

Download 10.52.

With Opera closed, copy the 10.51 skin to your custom skins folder in the new 10.52 install. The custom skins folder is located in your Profile folder, whose location can vary according to how you installed opera. It may be at C:\Program Files\Opera\profile\skin, or at C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\Opera\Profile.

Open Opera, press Shift+F12 and choose the 'other' Window Native Skin.

You could also try directly replacing the 10.52 Windows Native Skin with the 10.51 skin (placing it in C:\Program Files\Opera\skin and saying "yes" when it ask you if you want to replace the file), but I'm always hesitant to touch Opera program folders other than the Profile folder. EDIT: Just tried it. It works.

Thank you, that works.
