Bug DSK-294690 on 10.52 final

Just got to try the 10.52 final and the bug with Panels (DSK-294690) still happens both when upgrading from 10.52 RC3 and from 10.10! I'd consider this a showstopper since it makes the leftmost tabs and the panels window unusable, but since 10.52 was still launched, I guess others aren't experiencing it.

Here's the bug report I posted and attached are screenshots of the bug:

Steps to reproduce
===================
[0. Upgrade from 10.10 to 10.52 Mac RC1 with Panels previously set to be "floating".]
1. Open panels with button. Panels tab opens empty with a white square in the top left corner.
2. Close panels, square moves to cover the left lower side of the tab area (with visual tabs open) and will not go away. Other windows unaffected unless same procedure is repeated with them. White square disappears if panels tab is opened and some other tab is activated. White square not visible in tab thumbnail.
3. In preferences, panel placement has been set to "off" during the upgrade, set to "floating" again.
4. Open panels with button. Panels tab opens now with content, but the white square is still there, behaving as explained above.

Expected result

No white square.

Actual result
=============
A white square appears, explained above.

Is anyone else experiencing this? What can I do?

Panels window open in a background tab -- no glitch:

Partially related one on Windows as well... however it seems to be confined to the Panels only... closing the panel, the square goes along with it (till toggle again, then the square comes back too).

But a little easier to reproduce... just set the Panels to "float"... *bam*... white square.

I still get this on Opera 10.53. Does anybody else get this? The panels tab thumbnail is corrupted nowadays too, a mess of differently coloured lines.
