Disable check for verified certificates?

Hello,

Is there a way to disable the check for verified certificates in 10.51?
The reasons I want to do this are:

1. I don't care whether the certificate is verified or not
2. it requires additional user input by clicking approve, notwithstanding the fact you also need to tick a box if you want opera to remember your choice
3. opera never remembers my choice, so every time I get the dialog box again

I just want to accept all certificates automatically.

Thank you,
Cheers

Depends on why you are getting the error message. If the certificate has expired or has some other error, then Opera will always tell you about that error. If there is nothing technically wrong with the certificate but Opera just can't verify it, then you should be able to add the certificate so that Opera will accept it in the future. (That's separate from approving the certificate.)

Hi,

Well, that was my question - can I just tell opera NOT to try to verify it? I do tick "remember my choice" every time, but opera does not remember... and frankly, I absolutely don't care whether the certificate is verified or not, I just want opera to accept it without asking questions. I surmise it is not possible then?
Cheers

ps. sg, did you get my pm?

If there's no Add Certificate button, then no.

I get the same problem however, with me it started recently. Trusted sites like facebook and yahoo and even my online banking site will start to pop up security unidentified certificate warnings. So I tick the remember box and it never does. It will always pop up these boxes. It's now starting to get annoying becuase it's doing it on every site I visit.

Now, not every site can have this same problem. Any ideas on why opera is doing this and what I can do about it.
