Drag 'n Drop Support for Bookmarks Bar
How about it?Internet Explorer has it. Firefox has it. Opera... why not?
If people are afraid of dragging their bookmarks somewhere else by dragging by mistake, why not also include a lock checkbox option in "Bookmarks=>Manage Bookmarks..." Window?
It would just be a matter of transporting the functionality of the Bookmarks window to the bookmark menu. n.n
Doesn't that work if you hold shift while dragging or some such?

On the Personal Bar, the Panel, or Bookmark Manager, it's direct drag&drop... no modifiers, but not possible in menus. Shift+Drag for any other buttons (unless the Appearance dialog is open)
On Windows anyways... can't check Linux at the moment, and... don't care about Mac.
If they support drag&drop for the Bookmark Menu, then they'd have to either split it off from the default/standard menu and make it it's own menu type... or have it for all menu's... a bit problematic, especially given that they are aiming for OS integration, hard to combine integration, and something that isn't in most (any?) OS's by default.

Well, it may seem odd, but how does Firefox and Internet Explorer do it so seamlessly? OS integration is nice and all, but isn't functionality better?
After all, if OS integration was number 1 priority, shouldn't the drop down address bar be OS integrated, instead of beautiful and seamless?
As a famous brazilian musician and poet said here, in a very controversial verse: "May the ugly people forgive me, but beauty is fundamental."
