Middle click to go back + more

I like the option to change middle click functions in opera, but i could not find an option to make it go "back".

I use this by an addon in firefox to quickly browse back and forth when i read news etc. Its faster than mouse gestures and i dont end up with a lot of open tabs.

Also i'd like to see an easy way to implement something like the adblock-feuture in firefox, a plugin like "downthemall" and to download flash movies from youtube etc, plus opera also making sure it removes flash cookies trough the cookies option.

I know there is some workarounds to atleast the "adblock"-feuture, but i have not yet found one for the middle click-option.

The options in Preferences, Shortcuts, Middle-click options are just for the action when clicking on links.

You can add the action to go back in Preferences, Shortcuts, Mouse setup. Add it to the Document Window context to avoid breaking is action of closing a tab with middle-click on a tab.

It works fine here, so I expect you did something wrong. Use quick find to search for actions already assigned to button3. It helps to put your OS and Opera version in your Forum Signature, as that may sometimes be relevant.
