In the Yahoo Webmail contacts preferences, goto tools and export as a csv file.
Use this page (Opera employee owns the site) to convert yahoo_ab.csv to importedcontacts.adr. (Set First, Middle and Last to "Full Name" and set Email to "E-Mail". And, check the box to try and convert to utf-8.)
Then, in Opera, goto File (or O-Menu -> settings) -> import and export -> import contacts and import importedcontacts.adr.
Then, in the contacts panel, all your contacts will be under the Imported Contacts folder.
If you need to copy contacts from one Opera to another, choose Export contacts to export them as an adr file. Then, edit the file with a text editor and find al m2indexid lines and remove them. Then, in the other Opera, you just import the adr file.
