error in initialization file

I am attempting to install opera for the first time. I downloaded the install file and when I attempt to install, I get: Error reading setup initialization file.

Not sure what I can do from here.

It sounds like you have a corrupt installer. Try downloading it again. Is this Windows, btw?

Opera 12.1x.latest x86, Windows 8.1 x64
