Farmville.com won't load.

Can't say how pleased I am to see facebook and facebook apps log in problems apparently resolved in 10.52. yes

There is, however, an issue with what might be called an affiliate site on facebook.
I can play farmville as a facebook app, but prefer to use the Zynga site farmville.com. This site requires a facebook connection, which it will check for when it is launched, and this is the point where Opera gets stuck.

http://www.farmville.com/ starts by displaying a page with facebook log in and 'connect to' buttons. If I click either of those using Opera, then the address redirects to http://www.farmville.com/index.php?new_session but redisplays the same page.

If I use Chrome or Firefox, the log in/connect page is displayed only briefly (if at all) and the connection is automatically found.
When the game does open, it's still the same address - http://farmville.com/

Just btw: The same game running as a facebook app is at http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/ and that works fine on Opera now.
(Well, relatively fine that is. Farmville has issues of it's own and it could be somewhat difficult to tease out whether this or that problem might be related to the browser I'm using.)
So glad I can get back to using my favourite browser, yes. bigsmile

No change here with 1053. wait

What I WILL say tho, is that 1053 actually remembers Site Preferences - 1052 wouldn't.
So, now, at least I can go to http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/ without having pop ups blocked and being asked about cookies every day.
I think some earlier versions of Opera had problems saving site specific settings too, which may have contributed to log in difficulties.

A huge thanks for fixing that (I had intended to have a good grump about it otherwise, tbh). yes cheers
