Can't open PDF in Opera

Hello,
I have noticed that if I click on a link pointing to a PDF file and I choose "Open" instead of "Save As" nothing happens. Obviously I have Adobe Reader correctly installed on my machine. Can you help me?

Check the MIME types in Preferences, Downloads, application/pdf and see if it is set to use Adobe Reader or the plugin. Check your plugins to see if the Adobe Reader plugin is available.

Checked, and correctly set to Adobe Reader

Also download 10.53. I used to have those issues with early 10.5 versions but not in 10.52 or 10.53.
