Opera 10.53 and Facebook login
I know there are a few threads on this, but - they're old, nothing mentioned in them works (now anyway), and they're for 10.50/51.Anyway, this still isn't fixed. I tried the "delete cookies" work-around mentioned elsewhere, but nothing happened, it still loops around, even when I use the "Wand" to log-in (it just shows the username for a second, and nothing in the password field, and then takes me to another log-in page).
Any updates on this?
I love Opera and have been a loyal user for years now, but they're just trying to force new number of builds now, putting in new things, while ignoring 100s of bugs (for example this). All we ask is one stable build, with working features and no bugs, and then you can make any number of builds as you want. Once you label something as "Final", it is assumed that it will work.
No problem on win7 64

Facebook login works fine for me (Opera 10.53, XP Pro). But several other sites don't - they "loop around" like you described. But when I refresh the page after the login screen appears again, I'm logged in.

Try this. Preferences, Security, Security protocols, Details, and check all of the boxes. If they are not already checked, this may solve your problem. I solved a problem with Gmail for me.

I was having problems with Facebook login also. Every time I went to Facebook I had to log in. I did the delete all cookies thing and now I'm not having any problems. When I go to Facebook, I'm logged in.

But is your bookmark for facebook.com or a specific page? Try not using your bookmark and just type in facebook.com and try logging in then. It could also be an issue with your wand so don't use that either.
The bookmark is www.facebook.com. I tried not using it, typed the address manually, and used the "Wand", it failed again.
I moved the old wand somewhere else, and saved the password again, but it's still doing the same, hence the Wand isn't the problem.
