Make choice sticky for 'allow local JavaScript files to control secure pages'?
I have a handful of UserJS scripts, and want them to operate on secure HTTPS pages too. But the first time in every browser session I am presented with a modal dialog box saying :-Well, that is annoying firstly because the answer is always "Yes", and secondly because some of my (visually informative as thumbnails) SpeedDial thumbnails are for secure pages, and they won't update until after I manually open the page and click that damn dialog.Do you want to allow local JavaScript files to control secure pages? You should only allow this if you know what your JavaScript files contain and understand the security implications.
So, is there any setting, trick or workaround to save my choice across browser sessions, please?
We're with you man.
This alert is annoying. However, I don't thing there is any setting for that. As such this should be on wish-list I think.
I think there should be a separate directory for “secure” scripts which could run regardless of mode without any alerts or anything. Or at least, let the choice be remembered per-domain.
