+1 They can be useful. Not for whole collection but some fresh news websites are ok.

I didn't mean the FF default collection of news websites: I was talking about the chance to organize your RSS feeds as 'dynamic content' folders, 'cause I think this is a better 'abstraction' of a feed than the 'mail-style' news that Opera is able to manage now smile

I don't know how it looks like in FF, but I think a great idea should be a feeds panel.

I like this as well. There are some news feeds that I might enjoy keeping as mail, but for other news feeds, I only want to check for headlines.

Live bookmarks are quite possibly the only thing I like about Firefox, but the lack of them in Opera kind of annoys me. The Opera RSS reader is totally idiotic in its basic concept. I have written my own RSS reader which edits the Opera menu files to imitate live bookmarks, but it is clunky at best. I would love to see that sort of functionality built into Opera.

Is it possible to create a widget for this?

The advantage of live bookmarks is that they're in a menu, easy to access without always being there. I have seen several widgets designed to emulate this. None of them manage to avoid failing on at least one of these two attributes.

Would it be just as convenient for you to have it in a panel?

I know what you mean about Live Bookmarks. It did take me a while to get used to them. I thought that they were the stupidest thing, but I never installed Opera for a certain amount of time, which "forced" me to use Live Bookmarks. After I began to use them, I really began to appreciate them.

A panel would be good, so long as it consisted in a list of links that could be clicked on, like the bookmarks panel, and did not require that I open anything in a mail window in order to find the link I wanted.
