10.52 runs like a dog, a sick dog

A few weeks ago, did an update and whow, pages just snapped in.

then a day or two ago, an automatic update installed 10.52 build 3370
I don't know what was done to this, but it's a bear, scrolling is jerky, a check of Task Manager currently shows over 95% CPU utilization, pages almost never "finish" loading, you have to hit the stop button to get rid of the hourglass (that's been common for some time however).

Anyway, this is just not usable !

The latest version is 10.53, but I doubt that will solve your problem, which will be due to your configuration settings. Reset your profile by deleting operaprefs.ini is probably the quickest solution. You will lose any changes you have made in preferences, but its usually quicker to make those changes again than figuring out which setting is wrong.

When reporting problems, please provide necessary details. Are you browsing from behind a proxy, for example? Using turbo, version of windows, etc.
